Geoinformatics research days 2022

The Finnish University Network for Geoinformatics (Fiuginet) organizes the annual Geoinformatics Research Days on Monday, May 9th and Tuesday, May 10th on Kumpula campus, Helsinki. Majority of the programme will also be presented via Zoom for people who cannot attend in person (some of the Tuesday workshops might not be shown in Zoom). The event will be divided into seminar day on Monday, where the focus is on delivering high quality talks related to geoinformatics research and societal impact. On Tuesday, the focus will be on workshops and the days will culminate in a panel discussion on future needs for geoinformatics experts. More detailed program can be found below.

The conference is free of charge.

Time: Monday, May 9th at 9:00-15:30 and Tuesday, May 10th at 9:00-15:00.

Location:  Physicum building, Kumpula campus, University of Helsinki. The presentations on Monday will also be shown via Zoom for people who cannot attend in person. The Tuesday workshops may not be included in Zoom programme.
